MM2 Community-Wide Project.
This is a post originating from MM2C, I may be a newbie on this forum but I've been a member of MM2C since 2004 and playing MM since 1999.

Dear MM2 Community,
As you may have been able to gather from the title, this would involve an MM2 Community-Wide City Project similar to what was accomplished with ARCH in MM1, one of the most complete tracks ever made. Even without races, cops, or traffic, it quickly compensated for this with it's breathtaking scenery, secret passages, amazingly entertaining Cops and Robbers mode and also with its sheer novelty. Here is an extract from the readme making reference to all of the contributions made towards its success:
To date GT has shown interest in the project and we both hope to get as many people involved as possible. This would include:
-Car Modelers
-City Editors/Creators
-Photoshop/Gimp "Connaisseurs"
-Bus Community Members
ect.
The town to be created will most likely be fictional just like Arch to give it a universal appeal of sorts.
I am very much aware that this will be a very difficult and time consuming task but the only way we can accomplish this is through participation, dedication and initiative.
Thank you for your most precious time,
DeLorean_4,

This project was made for the MM1 community and it has been their continous support that has made it worth doing. Many thanks to all who provided props, ideas, opinions, and kind words during the production process. I'll attempt to list the major contributors here:
Barracuda: For his generous help in answering my many questions. He also wrote the prop tutorial that made that process much easier. Cuda took the basics that Paul came up with and refined them to create two finished tracks that set the standards for track making.
Paul: The "inventor" of track making as we know it. Without his initial attempts and help from Rocket, this wouldn't be possible. He also provided the rusted Cadillac that graces the less traveled areas of Arch County.
Deus Rex None-1a, Rocket, and Addict: For their creation of the BNG Editor. Without this tool, Arch would not be possible in the form you see it. There are over 1000 prop placements and they are what makes the track come to life.
Audiogod: For his solution to the problems of getting "Devil's Ramp" to work properly.
GTS_Mike: For coming up with the idea of making a track on an island with his Seaview track. It was Seaview that inspired me to try a third attempt at a track and because of the advantages of an island design, this one succeeded.
Poka: For the "Greasy Pokas" diner located in Northport, open 24 hours! He also created the Range Rover Defender.
TEK_Speedy: For the Impala and the rowboat that can be seen in various locations throughout the islands and the lava texture used in the pit of Mt. Angel.
Burner: For the S10 pickup and the 68 Camaro. He also provided the license plate design used on most Arch County vehicles.
Qwerty: For the Ford LTD that I used for both a civilian car and as the Sheriff's car. He also provided "Qwerty's Place" located in Northport.
Mr. Sparkle: For the Jeep Cherokee.
Tset: For the Suzuki Swift
JD297: For the Mercury
Stereo: For the Econoline Van.
Chadwick: For the Windstar minivan.
Y2Breeze: For the Honda Civic.
Jguy: For the picnic table.
Linkin: For his idea for the ball court on Dune Island.

Re: MM2 Community-Wide Project.
Hi, I'm doing some moddeling for this project. I'm doing a offroad section. I posted this on the mm2cforums, and I decided to post it here.
Alright here are ther pics of my offroad part:
Now your robably thinking that the ground has a bound problem, right? Wrong. My bridge is actually 2 PHX_ objects(one's really a alias.). Now these objects aren't on the ground. They'er floating. I guess since they're floating it makes it so that if you run into one of them you can sink through the ground, and falll into the river below. I'll fix this.
Well, that's all.

Re: MM2 Community-Wide Project.
Yeah, I'm thinking I might redo this completely, and try and make it better. Atleast redo some of the dirt road. These textures are, ofcourse, not final.
